How Happy Dog Gives Back

How we give back

Food to rescue centres in the UK, a school in Burundi funded by every pack of Africa, and the search dogs, animal food banks and vets who get a share of what the company earns.

Two rescue puppies
18,720 kg donated to UK rescues since October 2023
62,400 daily meals for a medium dog
64 rescue centres supported

In the UK

Every month we send food to rescue centres across the country. It is the recipes we sell, not a special charity batch, so the dogs waiting for homes eat as well as the ones who have found them. If you run a rescue and would like to be included, email us.

Africa and SOS Children's Villages

When Happy Dog Africa launched in 2009 as the first dog food made with ostrich, the company committed two per cent of every pack sold to SOS Children's Villages. The money funds a school in Rutana, Burundi, and the total has now passed two million euros. It is written into the product, so it happens whether anyone is watching or not.
